Jo is an experienced, warm, caring and empathetic practitioner dedicated to improving her patients health. She has been practicing acupuncture and herbal medicine for 16 years and has recently started offering her services in Coburg.
As well as treating general health and pain conditions Jo has been focusing her practice on fertility and reproductive health for the last 11 years at the bustling clinic Fertile Ground Health Group. She has been through the journey of infertility and pregnancy with many couples and singles helping them to create a family. Jo is passionate about her work and is highly knowledgable about how acupuncture and Chinese medicine can support the process of conceiving via IVF/ART and naturally, as well as supporting women throughout a pregnancy and into a labour and beyond.
In her practice Jo uses acupuncture, cupping, gua sha and Chinese herbal medicine, depending on the ailment.
Aside from her practice in fertility Jo has spent an extended period time in China trading and is a co-founder of Prickle Community Acupuncture (2008) , this is a reflection of her passion to make health and wellness available to all. Her general practice has given her a wealth of knowledge and experience outside of fertility including pain management, hormonal imbalances, autoimmune conditions as well as assisting with anxiety, depression and insomnia.
